Barnet Hospital

The Barnet General Hospital project is a 33 year concession to design, construct, operate and maintain the re-building of Barnet General Hospital in North London, UK. The project involved capital expenditure of approximately GBP65 million. Financial close was in February 1999. Construction was completed in March 2002.
Barnet Hospital Project Limited (a joint venture company formed by Bouygues (UK) Limited and Ecovert FM Limited - both subsidiaries of Bouygues Construction S.A. - was responsible for the hospital's design and construction. Another subsidiary of Bouygues Construction S.A., Ecovert South Limited, is responsible for maintenance and 'soft' facilities management. Medical imaging equipment, together with new IT and telecommunications, was installed by Siemens Healthcare Services Limited.
